Name: Kiongozi (Pronounced KAI-on-ne-GO-zee)
Nickname: Kion
Age: Cub
Gender: Male
Hero/Villain: Hero
Abilities: Talking like a human boy, clawing, biting; Kion also possesses a rare gift (you might call it a superpower) called the Roar of the Elders, in which, whenever he roars, the past Kings of the Pridelands roar in the sky with him. Of course, he can only use this gift when absolutely necessary.
Flaws: Kion doesn't doubt himself often, but when circumstances become overwhelming, he tends to feel rather uncertain of things. What those things may be depends on the situation.
Personality: Kion is a sharp-minded, quick-witted, strong-willed cub. He is also very brave, accountable, obedient and creative. His maturity is obviously more than twice that of other cubs his age, but he still enjoys some boyish fun now and then like the cub he is.
Family: Simba (father), Nala (mother), Kiara (sister), Mufusa (grandfather)
Friends: The other members of the Lion Guard (Fuli, Bunga, Beshte, Ono), Zazu, Rafiki, Timon, Pumbaa, Jasiri
Enemies: The hyenas and the FOE
History: Kion was born the second of two cubs, the younger brother of Princess Kiara. One day, he and his best friend Bunga the honey badger were playing Baobab Ball, when their ball rolled into the Outlands. Kion didn't want to go and get it, but Bunga was less inclined to shrink from such a thing. While trying to retrieve the ball, Bunga was captured by two hyenas named Cheezi and Chungu, both of whom followed another hyena named Janja, who was not present at the time. It was then that Kion first used the rare gift called the Roar of the Elders, scaring off the hyenas for the time being. Back at Pride Rock, Simba, Nala and Rafiki heard the Roar, and Rafiki determined that the time had come. Simba then told Kion about the Lion Guard, and about Kion's role as its leader. Kion assembled a team to continue the legacy of the Lion Guard, but instead of assembling a team of lions, according to tradition, Kion recruited different animals such as Bunga, as well as Fuli the cheetah, Beshte the hippo and Ono the egret. When Simba found out, he disapproved of his son's non-traditionalist action, leading Kion to question his role and his destiny. Taking some time alone, Kion encountered the spirit of Mufasa, who gave him some gentle guidance. Inspired, Kion returned to his friends, only to find that his sister Kiara was in danger, and that the hyenas, led by Janja, had instigated a gazelle stampede, and they were picking off the gazelles one by one. Acting as a coordinated team, Kion and the new Lion Guard saved Kiara, and drove off the hyenas by way of Kion using the Roar of the Elders once again. Impressed by the new team's heroics, Simba recanted his earlier disapproval, and allowed the team to stay together. Afterward, Kion led his Lion Guard team on several more adventures, loyally protecting the Pridelands from every threat that came along.
When the Virtue Crisis began, Kion agreed to help the Forces of Good take on the Forces of Evil, as long as it meant protecting the Pridelands and the Circle of Life.
Home: Pride Rock, The Pridelands, Africa
Other: Beside their similar personalities, Kion is similar to Bolt, in that they both, in one way or another, possess abilities that can drive back armies (Bolt has the Superbark, and Kion has the Roar of the Elders). They are also similar in that they both have a marking on their right side (Bolt has the Lightning Bolt mark, and Kion has the Lion Guard symbol on his shoulder).

"Hevi kabisa!"
Staring down from Pride Rock, Kion could hardly believe his eyes. So many new allies here to help protect the Pridelands, and the world, from evil. He knew that he and his team, the Lion Guard, were neither the first nor the last to fight for the greater good, or the only ones for that matter, but the sheer number of new allies stunned the cub beyond belief.
Once he got over his amazement, he took stock of some of the newcomers. In charge of all this was a wizard who had brought so many worlds together through magic, making the diverse gathering possible. This wizard had placed a strange-looking mouse in a position of leadership among the assembled heroes. The mouse seemed like an interesting ally, although Kion still couldn't wrap his mind around the mouse's title of King. In the prince's mind, there was only one King, and that was Kion's father, Simba.
At least he's not trying to take over like Scar or Makuu. Or even Janja, for that matter.
Kion put the matter aside, though. The mouse was obviously nothing like those others whom Kion had listed in his mind. And besides, those who didn't come from the Pridelands needed a leader of some sort, and if the wizard trusted the mouse to lead the newcomers, Kion wouldn't speak against it. Instead, he turned his attention to some of the other new arrivals he could see. One was a white dog with pointed ears. Kion had heard rumors that this dog either did or had possessed unnatural abilities, including something called a "Superbark." And he sure as the Circle of Life seemed to be the unselfish, heroic type.
Sounds like he would get along well with me and the Guard. We both want the greater good instead of our own selfish desires.
Of course, there were several others Kion could see, but for now he wanted to get to know the younger members of the new army and see what they could do. If the wizard had called so many people Kion's age to join this thing, there must have been a reason. He turned and ran toward the gathering down below.
