(This is an intro of sorts for Maleficent, since the site is starting anew. This thread to plan out the way of attaining the Orbs. And do forgive, I am still new, so do correct me if you wish, for anything. )Feb. 2nd (Open to Villains the Horned King and Jafar) The moist stone brick of the corridor seemed too ancient to stay on its own. Yet appearances deceived. A lone torch upon the ancient wall remained asleep and useless, as well as for the corridor, remaining as pitch dark as the abyss. All upon a sudden although, a spark upon that torch came to be and a lush green flame flourished from its center, illuminating the deep darkness. The lump resting on the floor startled at the action and struggled to his feet! The silhouette that stood at the mere entrance of the narrow corridor was so regal, beautiful... but oh so intimidating. She held a tall, thin staff in her left hand and seemed to cradle the lush green orb in her thin, seemingly delicate hand. A crown of two long, devilish curling horns mounted upon her head. Deep ebony and purple cloaked her graceful shoulders and trailed along the stone with grace that only she could possess. Her eyes were as sharp as spikes and as cold as winter.
It seemed this animal goblin knew he was in for a punishment. Failing his duty as night watch had its consequences. They were usually severe.
With a flourish of that staff, the entire corridor was lit abroad. A sharp hit of the staff upon the stone sounded through out. Deep green flames relit her dingy corridor as it led to her throne room. She narrowed her cold eyes, dismissing the decision to end the fool but only decided to pass on silent feet. She had a plan to get working on and she was not waste her time on stupidity.
"Dare to fall asleep again, ingrate, then I will assure that you will sleep."
She spoke in such a sickly soft tone, as if practicing patience, but the swine knew all too well.
"Make sure it doesn't happen again." she sharpened, finally. A clear hint of rage in her tone.
"Yes, Mistress! Apologies Mistress!!"
"Oh, do shut up. I have importance to address. Don't you fail again!"
She flourished her cape and the doors seemed to slam shut on their own.
She was a Fairy of sorts. A Dark Fairy, known all through out the Kingdoms. Usually, she remained quiet and plotted quietly and she knew her allies were to come. A discussion of sorts. Concerning the Orbs of old. If that Old Fool did not interfere, they would have succeeded. Him and that feckless little vermin, Mickey. The Dark Fairy stroked her glowing orb atop her staff and flourished it in the air before the pit in the center of the grand throne room seemed to explode with light, a grand fire of the purest emerald.

(OOC: Love the post!)
Indeed, one of Maleficent's allies was already entering her dark fortress even as she ignited the flames in her throne room. A swirling tendril of black, smoke-like vapor crackling with veins of blue lightning flowed through a window, and down to the floor. Where it struck, a surge of blazing orange flames erupted from the floor, leaving the skeletally thin figure in their midst cloaked for a moment in red smoke. When it cleared, the Horned King nodded his head in respectful greeting to Maleficent.
In stark contrast to the Dark Fairy, the ghoulish sorcerer portrayed not even the slightest hint of beauty or grace. A red robe draped across bony shoulders showed hints of great age, as did the dark, furry mantle he wore. Two bony horns jutted through holes in the robe crowning his head, growing straight form his skull, gave him his name. The barest hint of crimson burned in the depths of his black, pit-like eyes. Despite his poise, and almost regal bearing, there was no mistaking the silent malice that burned within him.
He much preferred Maleficent's castle to the palace Jafar had his sights on. The dark, shadowy hallways and grim stonework complete with gargoyles reminded him of his own castle, seized long ago from a pitiful mortal king and recently rebuilt. A glance about the throne room revealed that his Arabic comrade was not present as of yet. The sorcerer had sent word to the Horned King that he was focused on efforts far away, in Agrabah, and might not be able to converse with his comrades in person for some time.
"As our comrade has excused himself from this meeting, shall we begin?" he suggested, allowing Maleficent the final word since this was her castle. While they were neither one above the other, courtesy dictated she should have the final word in her own domain, just as his word would be final in his own castle of Prydain.

(OOC: Thank you so much!!)
The Dark Fairy turned to him with grace, as her red rose lips graced with a smirk. She truly knew the Lich King would never fail and was even punctual. Of course, she favored him over the Arabian for various reasons.
"Greetings, good friend." she greeted, darkly as she stepped patiently towards him. "You never fail to impress. Indeed, we must... This silence has to be shattered, as you know." she spoke softly and thoughtfully.
A shadow came over them, but it was only her entrusted raven after another spy mission. He circled the throne room around the two dark souls before settling gently onto his Mistress's shoulder.

Impressing others wasn't something that was a priority for the Horned King. He cared little what mortals might think of him, other than taking a certain amount of grim pleasure in their fear. However, Maleficent was no mere mortal, which made her a powerful ally. She could well understand the value of a long-term plan.
But now was the time for swifter action. Enough of an army had been amassed to end what was essentially a cold war, and show the so-called Heroes what lie in store for them. He ignored the sudden shadow of the dark bird as it flew overhead, secure in the knowledge that nothing would transpire within Maleficent's domain without her knowledge and permission.
"Indeed, our time has arrived," he agreed, raising his hands, palms up, and conjuring a ring of sickly green fog that swirled into the form of a map of the Pridelands, where the Forces of Good had established their main camp, and the Outlands, where Zira had gathered a fair number of the animals who had joined the ranks of the Forces of Evil.
"It would be a simple matter to assault our enemy's camp from across the river. That meddlesome old fool, and his wretched apprentice, have secluded themselves within his tower. None remain within the camp with the power to oppose our magic," he outlined. "However, without our direct involvement, we may not have the numbers necessary to strike a decisive blow directly, as of yet. A sudden raid to keep them off balance, and on the defensive, might be the wiser course of action, so we could turn our attention on finding the Orbs."
After outlining a couple of options, he folded his bony hands behind his back, and fell silent, allowing Maleficent a moment to consider his suggestions, and offer anything that may come to her mind. While the combined power the Dark Fairy and himself could conjure would be sufficient to deal a devastating blow to the Heroes, such a course of action could leave them vulnerable to a counterattack from Yen Sid, or from any other magicians present among the ranks of the Heroes. A few of them did seem to have some not inconsiderable power of their own.
