"Nobody really knows exactly what happened. I think we were all too preoccupied with trying to survive than figure out what was going on. At least in those first frantic weeks. By the time any of us could stop and ask 'What's going on?' it was already over. Our world had changed forever, and it would never be the same again. We were forced to depend on ourselves, on our own strength and will to survive, to live.
What we do know is all of the humans are gone. Where, or why, I can't say. Nobody can, for certain. The pets were hit the hardest. Always depending on their masters for their survival, they struggled the most when everything fell apart. But even the strays, the wanderers and scroungers suffered. There were no more humans to throw old food into dumpsters. It was easiest for those who already lived by their own strength, those who didn't depend on humans one bit for survival.
But now, a different kind of struggle is upon us. Besides the never-ending fight for survival, now we fight for the best hunting grounds, the best shelter, for territory. The question is where will you go? One of the old cities? Some small town? Or will you take to the wild country? Whatever your choice, just remember, you'd best have somebody to watch your back."
This is a post-apocalyptic RP site revolving around primarily cats and dogs, left behind after humanity has vanished. Forced to evacuate their homes and leave their animals behind, they've all gone. Survival, and starting new lives in the wake of the disappearances, is the main focus.
