Piglet, a resident of the Hundred Acre Woods, was busy in his garden planting flowers before night came. The small Piglet loved planting flowers, mostly the yellow and pink ones, but of course it would be a week or two before they grew. But surely he could just go play with Pooh until then, and maybe play in the mud if it rained tomorrow. The young Piglet did enjoy playing in the rain, except for when there were thunder storms. Then he would go to Rabbit or Pooh's house for safety. He hated being alone with the loud cracking of thunder happening just outside the door of his house, but when he was with a friend they would just play a game, usually detective of some sorts. Piglet would always be an assistant to the investigator, and he knew how Tigger somehow loved to be the villain. His favorite was the Mystery of the Missing Cookie Jar, which, it turns out Roo had eaten them and sadly had gotten grounded after Kanga found out what her son had done. But they would always see him a week or two after, so it wasn't so bad.
Piglet hummed a little tune as he put the flowers in their respective holes and buried them and then took his yellow watering can and poured a spray of water, smiling."That should do it!" He said happily to himself as he put the watering can down and went into his house just as the sun was setting. The house itself, although pretty small, to him the inside of the house was fairly big. To the left side were a few cupboards and a sink. The right was his broom closet and where he hung his rain coat and a chest full of stuff from his adventures. The back left corner was just a window, and in the middle of the room was a table and chairs for when he had guests over. Lastly, the lower bottom corner was a small bed that right now looked very cosy and was stuffed with lots and lots of blankets and pillows. Piglet put on his white night cap with small blue stripes and checked under his bed for monsters. (There weren't any, but his scrapbook and crayons were still there.) He hopped in, thinking about asking Pooh if he wanted to play Pooh Sticks tomorrow, and soon drifted off to sleep.
There was a bump in the night, interrupting the young Piglet's dreams. He raised an eyebrow, feeling a falling sensation, unaware that grave events where about to happen and his peaceful life would take a wrong turn. "H-hm?? Grave what?" Piglet asked, opening his eyes slightly and sitting up. He leaned over and looked at the page too see what happened next. Just seeing the words that had just said 'grave events', he continued to read the words just after that, even though they were upside down, and was very careful not to lean too far in case he fell off the page and landed in the next chapter, which was the last thing he wanted. "My house falls into the Pride Lands!" Piglet gasped, his voice breaking, and the next moment his house crashed into something and he was thrown out of bed and onto the floor boards which had broken as if they had been hit with something. The pots and pans from his cupboards were flung onto the ground and he thought he may have fallen into a different chapter, or worse, a different story book.
Young Piglet quickly scampered onto his feet, his tiny heart pounding, and ran over to the wooden door and opened it. He wasn't in the Wood anymore! There was a giant rock, a floating tower, elephants, a white dog, some blue monster, and a old-looking wolf next to a Mouse and a Duck. "Oh, d-d-d-dear!" Piglet shouted with fright, jumping and closing the door with a big smack and running to hide under his bed, hoping this was all just a dream and that he would wake up and go play Pooh Sticks in the morning. Surely any minute now he would wake up to the birds chirping and sunrise through his window. Just anything but this awful dream...even one of Owl's stories.
