Hey-o, everyone! Couple announcements for ya.
First of all, welcome, all of you lovely new members! I thought I would remind everyone that, when you finish an application for a character, create the application's thread in the 'Awaiting Approval' board, otherwise it's hard for me to find it. Once I approve your character, you can go ahead and RP as that character; you don't have to wait until every single character you've claimed has been approved. Not unless you want to, that is. And remember, while we'd love it if you join the threads already started, you can also start your own. Just remember to include the date and who it's open to! Another reminder to everyone, in case you didn't notice; Up at the top of the page, underneath where it should say 'Log Out', Is a little button that says 'Participated'. When you click it, a little window should pop up and show you every thread that account has participated in. If there's a little 'NEW' bubble next to it, you can guess what that means; someone replied to you! It's a great way to keep track.
Also, a few updates have been made to the forum--You'll notice that Yen Sid's Records and Dark Memoirs and Tale as Old as Time have each been moved down to the bottom of the forum in a category of their own: 'Non-RP Canon', just to make sure everything is properly organized. Yen Sid's Records and Dark Memoirs are located in the Journal board, in case anyone was confused. I've also added something that all new members may want to look at to get caught up on what's happened so far in the Struggle for the Orbs; that's right, the "So Far..." board! It's located in the same place as the Journals and Tale as Old As Time--the "Non-RP Canon" Category. It's a record and summary of everything that has happened in the RP or is currently happening. So far we've only got the events that happened in June down, but I will be adding to it as the RPs continue.
And finally, the Rules have been updated! Not a lot, just a few explanations and expounding on a few things. The most important, perhaps, is the fact that the staff has raised the character limit: Each member can now have up to eight-to-nine characters instead of just five!
Anyway, I think that's it. Can't wait to RP with you all, and remember, if you have the time, spread the word about Disney Destiny to your RPing buddies; the more the merrier, right? If there are any questions, please don't hesitate to message me or post in this Announcement.
