(June 4th, open to any heroes who want to come. Nothing serious yet.)
"Okie-dokie, everybody!" Goofy cheered with a firm stance. "Now, as you all know, I'm in charge of the explorin' team. That means we're going to have to be out of camp a lot." He nodded as he thought his explanation sounded good. "Now, we aren't really ready to be wandering around in the middle of nowhere, yet. Ain't got the supplies for that, after all. So, for now, we're going to listen to King Mickey and stick around the pridelands to look for the orbs. After all, this means when can break for camp before dark, being so close and all."
He looked over the small assembly of troops he had been able to gather. It wasn't really an army, but it's not like they needed to fight anybody today. At least, he hoped not. This was supposed to be the good guys' turf. No bad guys allowed. He scratched his chin a moment, "Now, before we go wandering too far, let's all intreeduce ourselves, so we can recognize each other later. Who wants to go first?"

Mulan stood there, feeling a bit confused. Well, almost anyone would be if a dog asked them to state their name. Although when she first heard about the worlds joining, she thought she was dreaming. Then Little Brother started to talk, and then she saw some of the men heading out of the village, talking about joining the forces of good. She wanted to help the forces of good as well, but she didn't expect to be taking orders from a talking dog. But maybe he was picked for a reason, and she was too quick to judge. After all, she thought Mushu was a little lizard when they first met. Well, he kinda was, but she had to have patience, and with that, she raised her hand. "Um...I'm Mulan, uh, hi everyone," she said. Although it felt a bit strange for everyone to introduce themselves before searching, she didn't mind.

The blue furry Experiment bounced up and down in the middle of the small bunch, waving two of his four arms energetically. "Ooh! Ooh!" He'd resented his short height earlier in life, but Jumba had made him small in stature so as to be a better escapist. Now, though, he wasn't trying to escape capture; he was trying to be noticed.
Stitch was just about to skitter towards the funny armored dog, wriggling his insect-like way through the legs of his fellow scouts, when a thought struck him. Pausing in his hops, the small mutant tensed up, suckled in his spines, antannae, and finally his extra arms, and then proceeded to worm his way to the front. "Oogh--agh, ex-cuse me!" he uttered gutturally. A model, Elvis-like citizen used his manners, even if he was a genetically manipulated alien programmed for galaxy-sized destruction.
Finally where he felt he could be better seen, Stitch still would have been tickled to hear the gasps of surprise at his appearance, even if he had retracted his more ghastly appendages to look normal. He raised his thorny-clawed hand and blinked his large, insectish eyes. "Llk, ahhg, hiii!' he greeted his new friends. "My--name--Stitch! Aloha!"

Ty's large eyes blinked at the funny creature. He'd seen--well, he'd been updated about most alien species in Ranger Training, and even had the mixed experience of meeting some, though most of his time was spent among robots or other Rangers. But the young man had never seen anything even remotely resembling this...'Stitch'. Then again, it's not like I see a lot of action. he thought resentfully.
Shaking his pointed head to clear it, Parsec shifted his weight. His suit was hot and stuffy under this hot sun. Why couldn't these 'Forces of Good' have their base in a nice, serene, shady forest? The only thing that looked slightly man-made was the Tower, and Ty hadn't even been up there, yet. Besides, it gave him the creeps. His scanners showed strange radiations coming off of it, unreadable radiations. Any kind of radiation spooked the Ranger, though he wouldn't admit it, after the incident on Canis-Lunis.
As for the young woman and the silly General, well...he wouldn't judge. At least not out loud. in his head he was thinking rather rude, dry comments about both of them, but for now he'd be polite. With one eye still on the little blue wierdo, Ty half-raised his hand, bored and annoyed with the idea of having to introduce themselves like they were in kindergarden. "Uh--yeah, Ranger Parsec, of Star Command, reporting for duty."

Jim blew air out of his cheek as he glanced around at the small gathering, there weren't a lot of them, but they were just a scouting troop, there wasn't any need for the whole army to just up and leave their camp. He looked up as Goofy addressed them, this guy reminded him so much of Delbert it wasn't even funny, he had wanted to ask if maybe he knew him, while they had made their way here but he had thought better of it. Still, he couldn't help thinking that the two were related somehow.
He turned his stormy green gaze toward the woman as she spoke, she seemed nervous, but he guessed that could be normal, she was in the middle of a crowd of people she'd never met before. He on the other hand, it didn't bother him. He met new people everyday back home so it was nothing new to be in a group of strangers. The next to step forward was a blue alien, though he didn't look like Jim remembered him, he'd seen him the day before in Silver's tent so he knew what he originally looked like. He did talk odd once he introduced himself and said hello, though Jim had met many people in his day and not a one of them ever talked normal.
Next to speak up was some weird guy in a large suit that reminded Jim a little of the one Delbert wore when they first left on the R.L.S Legacy. Though, this guys was more light weight and shaped differently. Star Command, huh? Jim had heard of that place, it was an old space station that just refused to go outta business no matter out of date they were. Still, it was nice to know he wasn't the only spacer among the group. A smirk played with his lips as he stepped forward.
"Good to know I'm not the only alien in this bunch." He came to stand at the front of the crowd as Stitch, as the little blue guy had called himself, had. He offered a wave to the assembled group before him before he spoke. "Hey, everyone. I'm Jim. It's nice to meet ya."

Ty almost cut Jim off, beginning to speak in a bit of an annoyed tone as the young man finished. "Yeah, uh-huh, hi, hello." He rushed disrespectfully. Moving to stand a bit nearer to the front, the Space Ranger rolled his big eyes even more disapprovingly. "Look, this is all great, and I'm all for the, you know, 'being friends' thing, but uh, don't we have a job to do?"
Perhaps it was rude, but his suit was hot, there were bugs that seemed to know how to penetrate Star Command armor, and they weren't getting anywhere with all of this. Ty couldn't help but feel that if Lightyear had been here he would have already found an Orb singlehandedly. Even though Parsec was a friend of Buzz's, he did not want the heroic, 100-carot-smile Ranger, or anyone else, for that matter, to be sent to help and relieve Ty by Star Command. That would be a blow to his pride, as well as annoying.
"Can't we just, y'know, move on?"

Goofy looked more surprised than taken aback by Ty's comment. He scratched his head, trying to think of what to say. "Well, sure we have a job, but it's only the first day. I figured it would, you know, be a good time for that there orienteering stuff. Make a list for roll call and head counts." He stood someone proudly. "Don't want anybody getting lost, you know. Have enough trouble as it is, and you all are my responsibility. That's what it means to be in charge." He saluted genuinely, one of the few actions he could do without tripping himself up.
His serious edge quickly dulled as he slouched out of his salute. "Anyways, it's a pleasure to meet you all. Mulan, Stitch, Jim, and even a sourpuss like you, Parsnip," he greeted with a friendly smile, goofing up the ranger's name completely by accident. He looked around and held his chin. "Now, let's see here." He pulled the map Donald had given him from his pocket, grateful that it hadn't ripped. "We'll be running a few rounds in the Pridelands today. Should be safe and easy. A nice beginner's course for our first day." He squinted one eye, trying to look like a serious leader. "But mark my words, everybody, I want you all to stick close. Never know when some of them bad guys could be lurking around."
He turned and took something of a marching stance. "Is everybody ready to go?"

Stitch nodded, excited, his long ears flapping up and down. "Oooh, yeah, ih!"
He hadn't really paid too much attention to the young man in the funny space suit's little tantrum, but he could sense annoyance in ever fiber of Ty's being. If the body language wasnt enough, the expression and tone of voice certainly communicated his impatience and disdain.
Stitch could be impatient, too, but right now, he was too cheerful. He was in a new place, meeting new people, about to kick some patookie! Even if Lilo wasn't here, this was sure to be fun, and the little Experiment loved showing off his superior strengths. He clapped his hands cutely, although the image was kind of ruined as he let out his extra arms, antennae, and spines again in eagerness. He was completely read to start.

"Nǐ zhēnshi gè bèndàn. (What a jerk,) " Mulan muttered. Who did that Ty Parsec guy think he was? Just because he had some big old fancy space suit, and was part of something called Star Command didn't mean he could be mean to everyone he met. She would have confronted him even louder, and in English, but then Goofy asked if everyone was ready. So, she reluctantly crossed her arms, and let it slide. "Ready," she said, making a mental note to try to not go to near Ty.

"Uh, that's Parse—you know what," the Ranger huffed an exaggerated sigh of frustration and hopelessness, "never mind!"
He wasn't always this...well, moody. He had a tendency to be sarcastic and a bit pessimistic, but his heart was usually in the right place. Today, however, he had sort of woken up on the wrong side of the bed. One little thing could ruin Ty's day. He wanted to do well on this mission that had seemed so uniquely important that it hurt, and was hoping that this would make him stand out at Star Command, like Buzz did. But as he observed the weird and wacky people and animals he was supposed to work with, he became more and more stressed and disappointed, and frankly, hopeless. This wasnt what he'd been expecting. Why did he always get the wack jobs?
"Is everybody ready to go?"
I've been 'ready to go' since we stopped for your little 'introductions' game. Thought Ty grumpily, but he managed to communicate it through his folded arms and impatient sigh sigh instead of with his voice.
He began walking with the others, carefully avoiding Stitch and falling in next to Jim. Well, he had remembered their names.
